Hi,

Just spotted TDF on 11845 kHz, however the Channel Impulse response now at 0825 UTC is very diffuse.

Congratulations Terge and Sixten for spotting our transmission...
TDF transmission to Italy on 28, 29/04 and 02/05 between 0800 and 1400 UTC.

Question: who is transmitting on 5970 kHz transmitting datas in mode 5kHz???. Regards. Jacques

Salut Jacques and all.

Her short log from RFI on 11845Khz .

Very problem for AM on 11850Khz and deep QSB . Splatter from LSB from 11850Khz

Hi,

With a lot off effort I get the occasional sound burst, but the QRM from Albania +10 kHz is too bad.

It got "better" when the splatter from 11.855 MHz stopped, but it seems, Jacques, you shoot over my QTH...

Hi Sixten, Digger and all,

Thanks for your reports; this transmission is intended to cover Tunisia as there is an ASBU conference in Tunis on 20, 21 and 22 November between 0900 and 1400 UTC; main beam at 144° so you are taking the rear lobe (-20 dB).

Regards / 73.

A noter que pour la premiére fois (a ma connaissance) c'est RFI et non plus TDF qui s'affiche...

Hi all,

First report on this frequency. A very good result until QRM started (~1413). The signal reached 45 dBuV and the sound is good. Look at the two pngs, the results, Label, Impulse response and QRM.

Hi,

I seem to be either too near the TX or sitting at 90 deg angle from Issoudun is not optimum for this site.

Hi All

Faint signs of 11845 kHz around 11845 kHz here last night. I didn't expect this signal to appear here at all.

Cheers, Chris

Hello to all,

Short try after 1300 UT, on my Sony ICF SW7600G there was a clear DRM signal besides AM on 11850, but on the DWT almost nothing appeared : mostly QRN from ceramic heaters around, or anything... DRM will be ruined here from time to time until next march-april now. I wonder how Digital Radio receivers react to these interferences. It is a main problem for DRM use by non-DXers in my opinion.

Hi Sixten, Terje, Daniel, John (in Grece), Chris in New Zealand and Stephane,

Thanks for your reports; the antenna in use was a 3/4/0.5 at 144 ° so it is quite normal that reception was fine in Greece; from my simulation, signal in athens was -10 db (45 dBµV/m) compared to reception in Tunis. Anyway, thank you John for valuable report. Thanks also to Chris in ZL for DX trial.

Reception not bad in Noerthern Europe (abour 30 dBµV/m); OK with a good antenna....

Our transmission is over now.
