Hi all,
A VT Digital result on 9750 for more than 120 mins. The sound output has no relation with the decoded audio graph, sound was much much better. Programme continued although it was not mentioned in TX schedule. See the recorded log.

Hi all,
A not bad result (when out of interference) until a very strong interference started which totaly ruined the DRM signal. This TX is so strong here that could be received even without antenna.

good conditions but unfortunately some problems today, I did not watch it all the time but I think most (all?) dips were Tx related (some short breaks and sometimes a carrier in the first hour, also towards the end the exploding spectrum occured again) , in the last hour signal was weaker but no interferers, so still quite good results, see attachment

Signal was a bit stronger than the one from Kvitsoy on 9470 kHz. Reception was mostly unattended, so I don't know the reason for the dropout. There was an incident of exploding spectrum with the typical spectrum during the last minute (not in the log) when the VT Digital announcement was broadcast.

Just a short report on excellent reception.
BTW: There seems to be something wrong with the audio file of the VT Merlin announcement at the end of transmission (or with the switchover to a different audio source), because last time I listened, there was an exploding spectrum and today, there was a moment, when the MSC indicator turned red for a moment although the signal was strong and there was no interference. Nothing visible in the log though because it happens during the last minute which is not logged if one turns logging off when the TX is switched off.

I started the log 1305 UTC.
An unbelievable strong splatter the first 30 Min. from 9645 KHz (!) here was the interference ! Later a good result.

New configuration on this transmission, now using mode A, 16QAM, as announced in the text messages (also asking for feedback), AFS information have also been added.
Nearly perfect decoding even in the first 10 minutes with a weaker signal and lower SNR. Short delay, no problems with mode A.

9750 kHz VT Digital Rampisham 98% decoded 34 minutes.
Started quite good on VT digital, some problems at the end when signal got too weak.
Also a weak signal at the start and towards the end of Radio Prague.
Otherwise the new configuration worked pretty good, still the known audio problems (levels on Radio Prague, quality of the audio feeds on some broadcasters).
Nice text messages and also AFS on both broadcasts, also for the "other service".

Mostly good results from Rampisham today, except for ten minutes around 1220, and a deep dip in the graph in the last half hour, seems like the transmission for Radio Prague stopped a few minutes early (probably propagation was just that bad?), still low audio levels on Radio Prague.

An semi-unattended short log. Perfect, in spite of the QRM splatters.
TX related problems in the first 10 minutes, stronger signal than in the past weeks, especially during the last half hour today, also pretty good SNR (maybe my best max. SNR using the G313i). Only a 10 minute period during Radio Prague when signal was weaker, still good decoding then using the DWT (second log). Again problems with audio levels from Radio Prague, and signal from Woofferton is transmitted 15 seconds early.

Time: 13:35 - 13:58 UTC. Result: 28 % CDA.
Stable Signal with a high SNR in Mode A.
Again around 1400 UTC little dips.
Ecxellent results today :).
SNR better than 30 dB except the last ten minutes when signal strength dropped 10 dB. The only small dip in the graph was the reconfiguration from Radio Prague to VTdigital at 1400. In contrast to yesterday audio levels from Radio Prague were OK today, audio from RNZI started two minutes late, signal again transmitted with a 15 seconds advance.

Am I correct in assuming that the transmission from RNZI was also coming from Woofferton?
In that case very good reception up to 8:54 UTC, when the signal dropped considerably. One hour later more or less gone. A total CDA of 23 %.

In spite of the QRM, a result for 26mn at SQ:99.89%.
Not real perfect... Sometimes SNR 24 dB and more and sometime less than 15dB.
