Hi all,
VT Digital and later Radio Prague. The signal varied from 34 to 45 dBuV with permanent co-channel QRM as seen in the SNR spectrum. Good sound with SQ: 99.92%.
Bad results today on my unattended log, a weak signal most of the time.

I have reported better results on this frequency. Here is the today's log, an unattended one.
Bad results today with a weak signal.

Some TX related problems? Good at the beginning, bad in the middle and again better in the end.
But the audio level was to high (especially at the two NHK broadcasts).
Half of the RTI broadcast was not on the air because of problems with the satellite feed (?).
BTW: Good music today.

Hi all,
Inspite of the co-channel QRM here are an almost perfect result for the Radio Prague and a very good one for the VT Digital.
Actually it seemed transmission was from Woofferton in the first hour yesterday, despite the text messages mentioning Rampisham (sorry if I am wrong;)). Very bad audio quality (distortion) on the Asian broadcasters, no audio at the beginning of RTI, later the emergency CD was played, program started about 25 minutes late.
Otherwise rather good results.
@drmdab: I did not notice Tx problems.

Conditions were not so good on Friday, results rather good on the first hour but getting worse later.
Stronger signal on Saturday, nearly perfect results.
Despite the text messages, both days transmission did not seem to be from Woofferton (?).
No audio quality problems like the week before :)

RNZI's Dateline Pacific is now on from 14:00 to 14:30 UTC.
Signal was fluctuating badly, I think I'm too close.
During the winter often had better reception on 31m from Rangitaiki. :D

Bad results on 9850 kHz due to strong QRM from two AM TXs at + and - 5 kHz.
This is very problematic freq. Strong AM on 9845 and 9855 from CRI .

Traces of China -5 kHz but no trouble at all here. Perfect reception.
Good results on all transmissions on Fri and Sat, here the first two logs from Fri.
Last half hour on Fri and also results from mobile reception.

This is the first time that I tune in to RNZI via VT.
Perfect signal here at 20Km NW of Barcelona, without fadings. 18-19dB, all time! :)
Receiver: HimalayaDRM2009.
Antenna: DEGEN DE31 Indoor active loop.
If I post this here, is because the radiotext of VT Digital sayed to me... :D
Strong signal and perfect results on all VT dig transmissions this week again. Since last week the audio problems that I had noticed for a couple of weeks seem to be solved.

Having a closer look I was surprised at the unusually long delay (also strange Doppler graph) which I had never noticed before on these transmissions from Woofferton or Rampisham during Radio Prague. Luckily it did not cause problems with mode A. I would really appreciate any information concerning what was different this week.

A real roller-coaster log here. I looked especially at the Impulse response, and it was wide and not very distinct; not very high above the base line.

At the same time I could not decode any audio, sometimes even the label was missing although the signal was at the same level here. I even tried a software restart, did not help, no real impulse visible. :confused:

I'm too close ande there must be a minimum in my antenna diagram if I use the dipole configuration. Signal was strong over S9+20dB but hardly any good impulse shape, maybe too much backscatter:

A perfect result from a signal ~45 dBuV.
I run in parallel both SWs and I noticed that the SNR figure by FhG was about 3 dB higher than that by Dream (1.6.1cvs). All these years reporting in the forum I have been realized that mostly Dream gives higher SNR figures than FhG, now on some ORGs it happens the opposite. Can anybody explain this ?

Hi All,
The Content server in London failed so we set up a local MDI feed on our content server for Radio Prague between 1330-1400. We didn't have time to set up all the perameters but at least there was something for you to receive.
Good results in the first hour of VT digital, no German broadcast from Radio Prague, thanks to Woofferton for the workaround when the CS failed although that was a really strange configuration (similar as on RTE sports some weeks ago) during the second half of Radio Prague, limited bandwidth and also audio levels dropped after the first couple of minutes, anyway good results.

I didn't log Radio Prague this afternoon, but I listened during the last half hour. I did not notice any dropouts at all here, only some minor jitters in the Decoded Audio.

Well, that's an interesting broadcast today... great audio.
Problems with the datastream (no valid MSC most of the time) both days, good conditions during the first hour of VT digital on Friday, a weaker signal during Radio Prague, improving towards the end, please ignore the blue graph (affected by the MSC problem)
Too bad the problems could not be fixed for Saturday´s transmissions, good conditions duing RP and VT dig (btw the few correctly decoded frames that can be seen in the graphs were unlistenable).
