first short log of VoR on 12060. In first impression this frequency is not as good as 15780. On 12055 is a station in Chinese? language.

Today I found out, that local interference, caused by low-voltage lighting equipment near the indoor (!) antenna can heavily disturb DRM reception - which can be seen for approx. 30' shortly after start of my
log.

On the other hand AM interference from 5 kHz below, appearing during the last hour or so made the signal unstable, but did not yet cause drop-outs.

Is it really Radio Rossia on 12055 interfering? Would be a bad bad joke !

Hmm, quite good. There was always a very strong AM Signal on 12055khz mostly only a carrier, but sometimes with modulation that caused dropouts.

Driving from 48712 Gescher to Bielefeld.
Wow, VoR with 21kbps! That's the way to go! Much better audio than before!
Good in the beginning, but a strange problem then. About 4kHz of the DRM spectrum in the lower sideband showed drastically reduced snr. I tried to find the reason. This was definetively not caused by the chinese speaking AM station 5kHz down, that was too weak. In the SNR display the interference looked like a carrier about 3,5kHz lower with a constantly modulated usb noise spectrum of about 3kHz. I tried to listen to it in am and ssb mode, but I could not find anything. I even switched off the engine, but no change. Very strange, makes me think if this problem was perhaps in the modulator.....??? :confused:
After checking the interference I logged again a few minutes driving through the town of Detmold, and suddenly just before the end of my travel the interference was gone and reception was good even in town, see following post.

Quite some time since I gave VoR a try. Listening time today: 09:17 - 09:57 UTC. There was a big drop at around 09:37. Cause unknown. Total CDA: 58 %.

A very good result up to 10H56, then signal got weak and big dropouts recorded, then signal restored until the marked period when strong interference appeared and kept from decoding. See for youshelf.
