with the coming up winter schedule the existing 21675khz
DRM freq. will be shifted to 21820 khz by 30th Oct.
Beam will remain: 300 degrees southern Europe / ME.
New timing: 08:00h - 10:25h UTC.

Happy to see you in the forum. I have a solid copy here in the Sines station, from this station. Sorry I canot put the record in the forum because ,I use for listen the station master monitorreceiver, DT700 from Fraunhofer.
The signal from this station have a average signal here about 25dBs SNR today, and have absolut no dropouts. this despite of all our transmitters running. For a first test, very good conditions. Perfect impulse response, and absolute clean QRG. No QRM.

Hi,

just a short 26 minute report of this 11.64 kbps bitrate. Well, now I feel that this audio bandwidth (3.5kHz) is too narrow. As there is no background noise this is better than AM, but I don't recommend it for music programs.

I noted signs of 21820 kHz around 0530 UTC, presumed the test transmission towards Vietnam.

Hi all

Enjoyable audio reception of DW on 21820 here in Sydney (with the aid of my 2el 15m moxon yagi antenna) over the last two nights. Better on 30/11/05 (see 0900 to 0930z results on graph below).

I got few secs audio with SNR 7dB.
My loop was not tuned at 21820KHZ.
If it tuned at 21MHZ.
I was able to get more audio.

The signal was weak this week.
And allways noise was bagan few mins passed 08 hrs UTS.
The noises were coming from TV set e.t.c from each houses.
The noise was stated from 08:10 uts. today too
I guess reason is end of working time is 07:45 ust at near factry.

I have changed hight of my loop and horizotal to varetical.
I was not able to decord on 13810KHZ, only few secs.
But this frequency was better than 13810KHZ.

The signal was not so strong.
only few sec audio has came.
my loop antenna has been broken yesterday by lightnings.
Variable capasitance diod at tunnning circuit was broken.
So I have been using old whoip antenna.

hi all,
I fixwd up my LOOP but loop's direction is hrizotal this morment.
The signal was better than yesterday bucause yesterday-
I have been using whopi antenna.
I think vertical LOOP can give stronger signal than horizontal loop.
But I felt horizontal LOOP is sumoler noise than vertiocal LOOP.
The signal gave audio with low SNR sometimes abou 6-7dB.

I removed amplifire of my loop antenna.
The signal was weaker than yesterday.
And signal became to weak around 30passed 08hrs.
Today's SNR was became bit better than yesterday's SNR.
I guess my amplifer of loop antnna is just noisy.

Tuned in a bit late. Heavy QSB in Switzerland too, the signal varied >10 dB. Despite this the reception was nearly perfect.

Hi all,

at the beginning my HamYagi pointed in the wrong direction. The resonant frequency of this yagi is more than 500 kHz lower - but the directivity is still surprising on 21820 kHz.

Today this QRG worked fine for over an hour, despite the very low signal strength and heavy Fading. The S-meter showed S1 - S2 and peaked at S3 (about +18 dBµV on the Antenna Terminal) at times.
