Hi

I'm not sure how long it's been available but there is an update for DWT software on the Coding Technologies website. I haven't seen mention of the update here, but I may have missed it.

There's also mention of details of the programming interface.

Hi Chris,
donīt expect too much, unfortunatley they forgot to include in the GUI what should be the main improvement:

quote from their website:
"The new version 1.0.12 of the Digital World Traveller software radio provides an improved user interface (e.g. with 32 DRM channel pre-sets instead of eight) and fixes some minor problems."

There are still only 8 DRM preset- channels :(

You can add more channels by clicking the "DRM" knob on the left. So there are four separate "channel pages".

Chris, many thanks for the information!

Because the DWT GUI is still not really usable, I made a quick update of DRM Discoverer. It is now able to control the DWT. Thanks to Coding Technologies for sharing the dll.

Just copy all the files into one directory. You need Dream or DRMSWR for decoding. Please give me feedback if it works for everybody or not. I will add more controls soon.

Excellent! Many thanks for that. It seems to work pk for me too.

I've only been able to decode from the DWT using Dream. The IF output of my DWT seems to be just out of the range of DRMSWR. Dream works fine though.

Cheers, Chris

Here comes a new beta version with some more controls for the DWT.

- selection of antenna input
- mode selection
- DX/Local selection
- displaying the fieldstrength
- displaying the LIF

After changing antenna, mode or attenuation you will get an error message. I still don't know the reason for that. Please ignore that, the function is working correcly. Just take it as an "Are you really sure to change the mode" reminder :D

For AM and FM you need the DWT Software to get sound. But AM should also be possible with dream in AM mode and DWT in DRM mode.

BTW DRM Discoverer now supports also the NRD 545.

Remember that you can tune easily with your mouse wheel after clicking on the big frequency label.
