DReaM would not synchronize for about 15 minutes and then went straight up to 32 dB snr. :confused:

That happens occasionally with mode A, pretty good results this morning with three small dropouts.

Hi Fritz,

I think the chosen mode is actually working great, even outside the main target area. For an MF transmission that would be the area covered by the groundwave signal, no problem to use even higher bitrates there. I am really impressed with the results I achieve on this transmission as I have a mix of a weak groundwave and stronger skywave signal (including strong AM interferences).
I remember tests back in 2005 with mode B resulting in lower bitrates but not having any advantages concerning reception results.

so it was the right decision to use the vertical antenna.
Nevertheless this 10 kHz wide signal is not very respectful on the european mediumwave.
Again 100% CDA this morning.

Have these broadcasts ceased now? No reception here and a contact of mine could not hear them in North Kent on Sunday where they should have been easily received.

It seems it has ceased. On the morning short wave frequencies the BBC has changed from Stereo to Mono.:(

I think the BBC has definitely stopped all TX on 1296, the BBCs web site puts a question over all their DRM transmissions, which would be another blow for DRM
