Today the DREAM 1.6.1 software here freezes every time I listen to 1296 kHz for some time. All other stations, also with higher bitrate, are OK. :(
Does anybody have an explanation? :confused:
My soundcard settings are unchanged.

this problem occured since 06:08 this morning, see attachment, I guess it is related to a datastreamproblem at the BBC. I noticed this some days ago also on HF.

It took me quite some time to find the reason as I first thought it had something to do with my newly installed Griffin Powermate to control the audio volume. :o

seems Dream is working OK again on this transmission, no problem since I started Dream again at 17:04, running almost for an hour now. But not all datastream problems are solved.

yes, it's working again.
I listened to the London Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing without a freeze now, but even at 26kbps there still is a lot of harmonic distortion on the violins.
No Problems mith DRM Software radio last evening, despeite my difficult conditions on mediumwave.
Excellent results last night, started also quite good this morning until 06:40, then results got worse.

Listening here in northern Europe (Sweden) in the evening does not give many stations broadcasting in DRM right now?!
That's why I tuned in to BBC on 1296. 46 minutes resulted in > 97 % CDA.

Received txt msg : Catch more business news on BUSINESS DAILY, Monday to Friday at 08:30.

No transmission after nine local time in the morning here!
Last year the worldservice made more than 50% of my DRM listening time in the car, now it's close to nothing.

During my holiday in Garda Italy I could receive the World Service on 1296 during the evening hours (the later the better) using the Morphy Richards. The DRM-SW transmissions of the BBC were received much better then this DRM-AM transmission.

Antenna test, blue and yellow end up in one line at 1500 f/s. :)
The audio from the SDR-1000 with two soundcards in a row (Edirol FA-66 and Creative SB Live! with driver only) on a C2D E6600 board is about 0.2 seconds ahead(!) the sound out of the DRT-1 using only the Creative X-Fi with full software suite installed on a 3.2GHz Pentium4 board. :o

BBC 1296kHz is like a rock here in the morning,
and the seven days in advance EPG is also very nice.
Too bad this transmission ends to early.
I'd listen more often on my way to work when it would last two hours longer.

Enjoyed the second half of the program (20-22 UTC) in perfect quality and in stereo using the MR27024 (in Amsterdam).
The radio text messages were from BBC radio 3 and working great.
